Outbound · High touch

Written for one person, not a list.

How we think about it

Good outreach has always worked. It just did not scale.

A message that references something true and specific about their business gets read. That has never been in question. The problem is that writing one takes thirty minutes of research, so companies either do it for a handful of accounts or abandon it for templates sent to thousands.

Both are bad options. The first does not move the number. The second annoys your entire addressable market and burns the sending domain doing it.

We do the first version at the volume of the second. The research still happens for every account, a person still approves every message, and the recipient still gets something worth their attention.

High-touch outreach is what we deploy when Discovery is the constraint, your buyers are not searching, and the deal size justifies real research per account. How the engines work →

Questions we get

Before you call.

Is each message really written from scratch, or is it a template with a name dropped in?
Written from scratch. Before anything is drafted we read the company, recent announcements, the role of the person receiving it and what is plausibly on their desk this quarter, and the message references something specific and true about them. Anyone can tell the difference between that and their own name pasted into a template, which is why one gets replies and the other gets deleted.
How do you research every account properly at that volume?
We built our own system to do it, trained on how we have run outreach for years. It does the reading and the first draft, which by hand is a week of work for forty accounts. Nothing goes out without a person approving it.
Who decides which companies we write to?
Either of us. We can build it from scratch: we have access to a database of millions of company contacts, and our grader works out the filters that describe a good account for your campaign, then scores every prospect it finds against them. Or you bring the list you already have and we research it, verify the emails and contact details, and either write to everyone on it or grade it first so you start with the best. Your call.
How many accounts does this suit?
Between fifty and about five hundred named accounts. Fewer than fifty and you should be doing it yourself, personally, because the list is small enough. More than five hundred and the research per account stops being affordable, and traditional outreach is the better fit.
What kind of reply rate should we expect?
Higher than templated outbound, which is a low bar, and it varies enormously by category and offer. We would rather set the expectation on the call once we have seen your list than quote a number here that turns out to be wrong for your market.
What happens to a reply?
It goes straight to your team, warm and in context, so whoever knows the business best picks it up while the interest is fresh. We start the conversations. You close them.
