Outbound

Go find the ones who were never going to find you.

How we think about it

Waiting to be discovered is a strategy with a ceiling.

Ads and search both depend on someone already looking. That covers the part of your market that has recognized the problem and started shopping. It does not cover the companies who would be perfect clients and have simply never thought about it.

There are two ways to go and get them, and which one fits depends on what a customer is worth to you. When each account is worth a great deal, we research them one at a time and write to the individual person, with a reason to care that is specific to their business. When the value is in reaching a lot of the right companies rather than a few perfect ones, we build the list carefully and run it at scale.

Outreach is what we deploy when the constraint is Discovery and your buyers are not searching. If they are already looking and not converting, this is the wrong tool. How the engines work →

Who this is not for

This fails badly when the basics are missing.

Outreach puts your company in front of people who did not ask to hear from you. That only works when the offer is sharp and someone is ready to respond. When it is not, it damages the brand rather than building pipeline.

Outreach may be the wrong fit if:

  • You cannot describe your ideal customer more precisely than an industry and a headcount
  • Nobody on your side can reply to an interested prospect within two days
  • Your average deal is small enough that per-account research cannot pay for itself
  • You want us to close the deals as well as start the conversations
  • You need volume above all and are willing to burn the domain to get it

Questions we get

Before you call.

Is this just cold email?
Cold, yes. Just email, no. Our researched outreach goes account by account: we work out who is worth writing to, what is likely on their desk this quarter, and why you are worth their reply. The recipient can tell it was written for them, which is the whole point, and it is why reply rates look nothing like the cold email you are picturing. We also run a higher-volume version for businesses where reaching more of the right companies beats reaching a few perfectly.
How is this different from buying a list and blasting it?
A bought list is whoever the vendor had. Ours is built from your actual criteria, and the message is written for the people on it rather than sprayed at them. Even at volume there is a limit to how many go out and a reason each company is on the list. That is the difference between outbound that works and the reason outbound has the reputation it does.
Will this hurt our domain reputation?
Not if it is run properly, which means dedicated sending domains, gradual warm-up, tight volume limits per inbox and real monitoring of deliverability. We set that infrastructure up before a single message goes out. Agencies that skip it are the reason outreach has the reputation it has.
What kind of companies does this work for?
Ones with a clearly definable ideal customer, a deal size large enough to justify the effort per account, and a sales process that can handle a warm reply. If you sell something inexpensive to a very broad market, ads will reach them more cheaply.
Who handles the replies?
You do. We put a qualified conversation in your inbox and hand it over; we are not a closing service. If your team cannot respond within a day or two, the work is wasted, so that is the thing to fix first.
How long before we see replies?
Infrastructure and research take the first two to three weeks. After that, replies start arriving within the first sending cycle. Meaningful pipeline usually takes sixty to ninety days, because a warm reply is not a closed deal.
